First experience and it was fabulous. We eat sushi out quite a bit and this place is the best Ive had so far. I ordered a lunch box, Kai-A, sashimi. Ill attach a picture (I am technologically handicap so not sure if I even can) to show the amount of food and how well it was presented. It tasted as good as it looked. Prices are fair for what you get. Next time we will try some rolls and other menu options. ETA: cost was about $20
Overall food was really good. Not so small where you would feel cramped but also not so big where it gets loud and you can't hear yourself talk. Everything tasted fresh and the rice itself didn't have that starchy taste that you'd get from rolls that are either packed too tight or over cooked or even that's been sitting a cooler for too long. Location is nice, tucked just out of the way where if you weren't paying attention you'd miss it
Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff? Friend had chicken teriyaki rolls- tiny over cooked chicken on a loosely wrapped roll with no flavour. Bland and fell apart. And for $6? Never again.California rolls were pretty good. They said the Chicken udon was pretty good, broth a bit bland but portion and veg and noodles were decent. My friend got all this for $24, way over priced for what you get.
One of the best sushi places I have ever been. Everything is unique including miso soup. Special and unique taste of every dish. Beautiful interior decor brings this place to a different level of affordable dinning. Servers are super nice and helpful. A must go place for a special occasion or just contemporary lunch. If you are tired of going to your favorite sushi place this is a place to go.
Sushi was incredibly high quality, but the other warm entrees are also excellent. So fresh you could taste the ocean, and full of different flavors. It was my second time here, and I was blown away. My glass never reached half empty; the service was so fast and so attentive; And the all staffs was very friendly. It was definitely an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!!
