Clean, great atmosphere, friendly service. Some fresh takes on classic sushi dishes. Very impressed. Don't skip out on the deep fried ice cream for dessert either
Really disappointed. Ordered 3 teriyaki dishes and none of them came with any other type of veggies other than cabbage. One order was no tofu add extra veggies and instead got even more cabbage... I called to ask if their recipe changed and they said take out is cheaper so you get less stuff but when I said the menu said broccoli, onions, carrots, peppers asparagus were in the dish, they hung up on me. Horrible. If I wanted cabbage and rice I could have opened my fridge and made the dish for 3$ not 12$
I ordered a salad, my avocado in it was fully brown. Sashimi was tiny pieces for $13 for Sashimi! Could of been much bigger. Will not be going back waste of money.
Fresh Japanese food in Poco! Although the place is run by Koreans, the food is tasty, restaurant is clean and service is good! Was so happy to find some decent fresh Saba and Toro in the area. Have been here a few times and it is definitely my new favourite Japanese restaurant close to home! A good selection of Japanese dishes paired with Japanese beers on tap or bottle.
We arrived at the middle of a lunch rush, the waiter was a bit overrun and flustered but still courteous and attentive. The interior is clean, modern but feels casual enough. They have a few dining rooms for special occasions. The menu is full with options for everyone. It's described as Japanese Fusion but the menu reads overall traditional. Each of our meals were fresh and delicious... Admittedly my guests were from the US and one from Texas specifically; so you wonder how easy it would be to impress with Sushi or Japanese! They are well traveled and this restaurant experience and the food stood out as a favourite!
